As for the development of overseas markets, SKL’s joint venture with
China’s Hainan Airlines Group, “Shin Kong & HNA Life Insurance”, opened for business in April
2009 in
Beijing and will gradually develop the enormous
China market. In Hong Kong, SKB has established a finance company to provide a fund management platform for Taiwanese enterprises. SKFH has also set up banking and insurance offices in the high-potential market of Vietnam.
