(TAIPEI) After the annual general shareholders’ meeting today (June 18), Shin Kong Life Insurance (SKL) convened a meeting of the Board of Directors. The Board approved the retirement of SKL President Po-Tseng Pan and his appointment as a resident director. Senior Vice President Hsiung-Chi Tsai was promoted as the new President of SKL. The personnel changes will be reported to the competent authorities and effective on August 1 after approval.

Newly appointed President Hsiung-Chi Tsai graduated from the Graduate School of Insurance at Feng Chia University. He is an actuary accredited with the Actuarial Institute of the R.O.C. and has served at SKL in management positions including general planning and actuarial operations, product, field planning, sales, policy administration, policyholder services, IT, and financial accounting. President Tsai is anticipated to lead SKL into new fields of development as he has been with Shin Kong for 30 years with his extensive experience in insurance management.
